Properties & Characteristics of ASEplas 1010 Organic materials

The 1010 Range of Materials allow great freedom in on-site storing without the fear of theft, a problem traditionally experienced with steels and wood. Requires no maintenance after installation as no painting or special coating is required, there is no significant moisture absorption. Rust and rotting do not occur.

The 1010 Range of Materials are fire safe and meet the standard UL class 94 V-0. In addition, SWA is rated for fire propagation as tested to BS 476 part 5 & 6 :1968, classified, ‘ not easily ignitable’. Surface spread of flame as tested to BS 476 part 7: 1971 designated class 1.

Pipe Supports for High temp Applications +700°C to –196°C

We have a range of specially formulated inorganic calcium silicate & foamglass materials suitable for the thermal isolation & insulation of high temp pipelines. Special consideration of the design application of these materials is essential as they are generally less tolerant of excessive dynamic loads than our range of organic materials, which are suitable for temperatures up to 160°C.
