Cold Shoes Table 9

*Please specify dimension H (e.g. ICS300/1/100 = 1” pipe support H = 100mm). H can be varied from 75mm to 175mm as required.

Note: The insulation block is attached by separate fixings to the upper and lower steel plates. The fixings do not pass completely through the insulation block thus maximising the insulation value of the support at the expense of lower load capability. The insulation block thickness can be increased if required.

Type HCS300 : Clamped shoe for cold lines – high load

Cold Shoes 9

Cold Shoes Table 10

* Please specify dimension H (e.g. HCS300/1/100 = 1” pipe support H = 100mm). H can be varied from 75mm to 175mm as required.

Vertical upward and lateral load capability depends on the method of fixing the base plate to the supporting structure. With suitable clamping the load capability could exceed the loads given for the larger sizes.

Note: The plate above the insulation block is bolted through the insulation directly into the base plate. This bolt through design gives maximum strength with some loss of insulation properties. The insulation block thickness can be increased if required.

Notes:

  • Unless otherwise stated, all dimensions are in millimetres.
  • Insulating blocks are constructed from ASEplas 1010 SWA material.
  • The block material has a temperature range -196°C to +160°C continuous and the supports have an effective ‘K’ value of less than 0.25 W/m°C.
