ASEplas Pipe Shoes
provide thermal insulation between cold and cryogenic pipelines and supporting
steel structures preventing ice build up on sliding supports, carbon steel
embrittlement and loss of thermal efficiency. ASEplas insulating pipe shoes are basically moulded components made from ASEplas glass reinforced composite materials. These materials have an advantage over many materials available in that they are mouldable and can be produced in a wide variety of shapes with properties that are basically non-directional. The materials have excellent fire safety properties; they are not easily ignitable and have a very low flame spread therefore on site welding can be safely carried out adjacent to an ASEplas support. To date, ASEplas Pipe Shoes have been utilised in the following Market sectors:
